Volunteer Opportunities

The preservation of heritage resources is not only knowing about their existence but also valuing their presence. Concerned citizens, government officials and private sector interests are all working together to insure that our heritage resources are preserved for generations to come. Critical to the American Clock & Watch Museum’s success in “preserving the past for the future” are the many volunteer hours donated each month. There are many volunteer opportunities that require a wide range of skills and life experiences. The museum will work hard to find that special niche for each and every volunteer, where they can make their unique contribution to the museum’s success.

Volunteering at the museum is a fun and rewarding experience demonstrating an individual’s appreciation of heritage resources. Additionally, volunteering offers individuals the opportunity to contribute, to learn, and to enjoy the company of people who share your interest and desire to preserve Connecticut’s clockmaking heritage.

If you are within traveling distance and interested in learning more about the volunteer opportunities available at the American Clock & Watch museum, please identify your interests and return this page to the museum. We look forward to hearing from you!
